The Winchester Historic Preservation Commission began its video oral history project in 2010 with a series of interviews of local citizens with long memories. Each interviewee was asked to reflect on their experiences with downtown retail stores, the railroad depot, and the Guerrant Clinic. In 2016, Video Editing Services of Lexington began the task of turning the interview material into a series of "Winchester Stories", adding historic photos and audio to finish each piece. Upon completion, a total of nine "Stories" will be available for viewing via this website.
